
New director of sales indicates expansion across North America for Camira Group

The Camira Group has appointed Morgan Levien as its new director of sales within the North American contract segment of the business.
Levien, who brings more than 15 years’ experience in the interior and furnishings industry, will be responsible for driving new business in Western and Central United States, as well as Western Canada.
Commenting on Levien’s recruitment, president of the Camira Group, Chris Silguero said: “Morgan will play an integral role in delivering our ambitious growth plans in the North American marketplace. Her knowledge and experience will prove vital in developing our long-term strategy, which will see Camira targeting a doubling of the group business in North America over the next five years.”
New sales director, Morgan Levien’s industry acumen spans senior roles at furniture manufacturer, Meyer Wells and trade home furnishings company, Kravet Inc. More recently, Levien established and managed her own interior design firm.
The announcement comes following a raft of new product introductions for Camira including pure new wool and flax fabric, Monochrome Sett, recycled wool ReSKU 2.0 and The Return Collection for sister brand, Luna Textiles.
Levien added: “I’m delighted to be joining Camira at what is such an exciting time for the business - 2024 marks 50 years since Camira was founded in the UK and there are some incredibly exciting sustainable innovations being brought to market - I’m looking forward to introducing these and bringing real value to our customers.”
Founded in 1974 in Yorkshire in the UK, Camira designs and manufactures textiles for every space and sector; from contract and hospitality, to mass transit interiors including bus and coach.
