Group Environmental Policy

Approach
To lead with forward‑thinking environmental stewardship and continually seek opportunities to reduce our impact on the planet and prioritise methods of working that support responsible resource use, and promote long‑term environmental resilience.

We continue to advance sustainable and circular practices by embedding environmental considerations into
product development, operational planning and organisational decision‑making. Our efforts focus on progressing toward a low‑carbon operating model, reducing emissions across our value chain, and contributing positively to the communities in which we operate. Openness, transparency and ethical conduct underpin our approach, supporting responsible sourcing, clear communication and compliance with evolving environmental expectations.

Through collaboration and shared responsibility, we encourage employees, partners and stakeholders to contribute to improved environmental outcomes, foster innovation and support continual enhancement of environmental performance.

Commitments
• We will continually develop and refine the Group Business Management System to ensure all operational sites, departments and people work in conformance with the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001.
• We will determine applicable environmental statutory and regulatory compliance obligations relating to our activities, implement actions to meet them, and routinely verify their effectiveness.
• We will prevent pollution, reduce our use of natural resources, minimise and reduce manufacturing waste, protect the environment during all operational activities, and consider wider environmental impacts when making business and investment decisions.
• We will evaluate the life‑cycle impacts of new products, from design and development through manufacture, use and end‑of‑life treatment, and focus our efforts on progressing toward a net‑zero business model across the supply chain.
• We will set measurable environmental objectives that are monitored, reviewed and updated in line with this policy to support continual improvement and improved environmental performance.
• We will recognise the importance of contributing positively to local and international communities as part of our environmental and social responsibilities and will engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote awareness of environmental requirements and encourage their contribution to continual environmental improvement.

Scope
This Environmental Policy applies to all Camira sites, operations, and employees, whose activities can influence environmental performance.

Responsibility and Accountability
The Commercial Director retains overall accountability for environmental performance, endorses this policy, and is responsible for providing resources to ensure an effective Business Management System is maintained in line with the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001.

Managers and Supervisors are responsible for understanding environmental impacts within their areas of control, supporting climate aligned strategy, managing associated risks and opportunities, applying lifecycle thinking in daily operations, and supporting their teams in meeting environmental, compliance and  performance requirements.

All employees contribute to environmental protection by following established processes, minimising
waste and resource consumption, identifying opportunities for improvement, and reporting environmental concerns to support a proactive and responsible organisational culture.

This policy will be maintained and updated as necessary to reflect changes in the organisation, its context and stakeholder needs. It will be made available to all relevant stakeholders and interested parties.
