As we continue to tell the story of our 200 years of heritage, we're taking a look at one of our longest and most successful partnerships - Transport for London.
Working together through the decades, the relationship between Camira and
TfL has seen the launch of a number of textiles now ensconced in the transport hall of fame, including those by
Edith Marx,
Marianne Straub, and, most recently,
Wallace Sewell (the name behind the fabric featured on the new
Elizabeth Line).
Featuring an interview with Paul Marchant - Head of Product Design at
TfL - he provides a unique insight into why the world's most iconic transport operator has such an enduring love of Camira moquette; from its impressive flame retardancy and innate durability to its timeless aesthetics, he takes us through the reasons why it remains a beloved feature of the city of London after all these years.
