Education
Camira textiles are long-lasting, hard-wearing and flame-retardant, making them the ideal textile solution for high-traffic, high-demand educational settings.
They’re widely used in universities, colleges, student accommodation, schools and kindergarten – in libraries and lecture theatres, canteens and classrooms, bars and bedrooms, staff rooms and study rooms.
Made to inspire
They create inviting and inspiring places for students and staff to learn or relax, bringing colour, design and acoustic performance for a wide range of fabric applications.
Fabrics can bring either stimulating or calming qualities to a space, to enhance the learning of students and the behaviour of pupils, as well as furnishing places for relaxation and leisure.

Made to perform
For the highest demand areas, our 24/7 fabrics are a first-class choice, providing round the clock performance, guaranteed for 24-hour use over 10 years. 24/7+ is our original high-endurance fabric made from highly resilient wool, polyamide and flame-retardant viscose, giving a Martindale specification in excess of 400,000 cycles. Available in two popular colourways, Night WK012 and Forever WK017, which are carefully coloured for optimum longevity.
24/7 Flax is an environmental progression of this high endurance concept, adding flax into the wool-polyamide blend, giving robust durability and functionality in a palette of 16 colourways.

Made to last
All our fabrics are guaranteed for up to 10 years for use up to 8 hours a day.
So our product portfolio offers facility managers and design teams lots of choice to furnish entire schemes across multiple applications – from seating fabrics on furniture to acoustic applications in lecture theatres, auditoria and libraries, even sofa beds and curtains in halls of residence and purpose-built accommodation.

Made with a conscience
Our wool-bast fabrics – such as Main Line Flax, Main Line Twist and Silk – are popular choices for their sustainability and performance characteristics and are all multi-functional.
Our felted wool Blazer takes its name from traditional school uniforms and provides supreme versatility across all kinds of upholstered furniture – from pods and privacy screens to high-backed sofas and low-slung settees.
Recycled polyesters are also widely used in educational institutions, made from post-consumer recycled PET, including our crepe weave fabrics Xtreme and X2, as well as the modern knit look fabric RePlay.
