'Sprung' by deadgood, featuring Oceanic

Created by the playfully innovative deadgood, and developed with sustainability at the forefront of the design process, the 'Sprung' chair is striking in its aesthetics, forward thinking in its approach, and green in its credentials. Available in Oceanic, our fabric born of the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE and created entirely from post-consumer recycled plastic, this seat and textile pairing is a match made in eco heaven.

Something to make you smile, keep for a while, then repair, reuse or recycle.

With 99% of the materials used in 'Sprung' recyclable at the end of their life, and 81% produced from recycled content (even the frame's powder coated finish, aptly named 'Get Wasted', is created entirely from recycled paint powders that were otherwise destined for landfill), the chair is designed to ensure almost every element can be reloved and reused once it has reached the end of its usage.

"Packed with personality, 'Sprung' boasts an honest aesthetic."

Dan Ziglam, deadgood co-founder & director comments on the company's environmental ethos and how it is reflected in their latest launch, “We have really tried to address the principles of designing for a circular economy and consider more deeply what happens to our products at the end of their life cycle, and this can really be seen in the 'Sprung' chair - every functional fixing and fitting is on show and the removable covers and detachable components are designed to encourage refurbishment or recycling at the end of the product's lifetime."
