Location – Camira Knit, Nottingham

 

Purpose:

To operate Stoll machines according to production plans and specifications to deliver high quality products and meet customer demands.

Full on the job training will be given.


Responsibilities

·    Produce products to the agreed specification by following processes

·    Quality checking to ensure a quality product is knitted and delivered to the customer

·    Maintain Stoll machines to in accordance with standard working practices to ensure smooth running operation and efficiency of the machine

·    Ensure a smooth shift handover by attending daily meetings

·    Change over machines to ensure smooth running of the manufacturing process

 

Education / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

·    Some PC skills with a basic knowledge of Word and Excel

·    Previous experience, or an understanding of, continuous improvement initiatives

·    Experience within a production environment and/or machine operator role would be beneficial

·    Good time management

 

Hours / shift pattern - You will be working a 3- week rotational working pattern as detailed below:

·    Week 1: Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 14:00

·    Week 2: Monday to Friday: 14:00 – 22:00

·    Week 3: Sunday to Thursday: 22:00 – 06:00
