Camira’s stand concept at this year’s Orgatec captures the world of weaving in a striking installation using gigantic interlacing fabrics in careful color curations and tactile textures.
Designed by Düsseldorf based design and architectural practice Raumkontor, the stand is a real-life interpretation of the so-called "Weaving Shed", where warp combines with weft, to transform yarn into the woven fabrics which are Made by Camira.
The design brief for the textile innovator’s Orgatec stand was to re-create the art of making fabrics, taking inspiration from our busy textile manufacturing facilities with the constant chatter of looms. The idea is translated imaginatively and architecturally in the form of enormous woven replicas of our most loved fabrics as well as our latest introductions, in a forward-thinking trend focused colour palette infused from spicy red and hot chilli pepper. The result is a headline array of natural wool, synthetic and acoustic fabrics which create a mouth-watering visual feast to inspire interior designers and furniture professionals alike.
We will be showing our latest ranges including Blazer, Carlow, Era and Era 66, Main Line Flax Stripe and Synergy Quilt.
Visit our stand from 23-27 October at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Hall 6.1, stand C:078.
