Clerkenwell Design Week 2016

Back to News & Events

Get more from Synergy at this year’s CDW. We will be exploring the process of natural decay and corrosion, from 24-26 May, with a preview of our exclusive printed fabric by luxury print designer, Torunn Myklebust.

Corrosion is an exciting collaboration between Camira and the Norwegian print and textile consultant which, as Torunn explains, “Looks at natural textures and how over time nature changes a surface, how decay reveals a new beauty.”

Printed onto Camira’s newest wool blend fabric, Synergy, the rusting surface of Corrosion has been broken up with geometric triangles, exploring the mix of negative space, rust and hard cut shapes.

We will also be hosting two talks in our showroom, entitled Global Trends: evolution, continuity and change. Our Design & Development Manager, Catherine Counsell, will be looking at the ever-evolving pattern of global trend directions, how this aids and informs designers now, and what insights it can bring for future design specification, in line with our 2016/17 trend report, Equilibrium.

Pop along for one of the talks on:

  • Tuesday 24th May – 3pm
  • Thursday 26th May – 11am
