Story 01: The Master

Back to Inspiration

Materials & Colors

Nature is the most enduring source of inspiration, and the ease with which each element complements and harmonises is echoed in this flatlay. In combinations and varied proportions with natural materials this scheme showcases the timeless quality of The Master fabrics.

Lynn Kingdon, Head of Creative at Camira, explains how the selected materials and colours work in perfect harmony with one another, "Deep and softly variegated, navy Blazer is a luxurious contrast to natural rattan and warm Clay, whilst the light grey Sumi delivers a subtle counterpoint."

Applications

The reassuring qualities of The Master are expressed in the accompanying image in layered neutrality. Featuring Sumi & Kyoto throughout, the balance of warm and cool hues in a mix of surface interest creates a quiet cocooning environment, whilst the tailored aesthetic, structured lines and fine worsted wool in a masculine palette delivers a restrained yet striking outcome.

Natural, woollen fabrics

With a palette inspired by the connection between the great rural outdoors, industry and craftsmanship, The Master brings together mellow agricultural tones and inky darks to create a truly elegant fabric selection. With heritage and nature running through these timeless textures and patterns, this palette is without age, yet perfectly in tune with the current yearning for simpler times with its natural, woollen fabrics.
