Castle Keep is a three bedroom residential apartment set in the grounds of the ruins of Castle Bailey in the historic West Yorkshire market town of Wetherby. It was recently refurbished by the homeowner, Blank Canvas interior design consultant Mari Stassen, using a selection of our innovative sustainable natural fabrics.
A departure from our traditional commercial customer heartland, this residential project allowed the designer an opportunity to showcase Camira fabrics in a domestic setting. Denim in Stonewash, Cargo and Cowboy were used for upholstery.
Craggan Gravel was used on the ottoman and cushions, while Sting Scatter and Honesty were used for a throw and accents.
The result is a home from home - a little corner of Mari’s native South Africa in the heart of West Yorkshire. A home where rich earthy tones meet vibrant flashes of color, and tactile textures and natural fabrics transform everyday objects into living story books – each with a tale to tell.
