London Gatwick Airport

Gatwick is the world’s busiest single runway airport and the second largest airport in the UK. Around 45 airlines operate from the airport, welcoming 34.2 million passengers a year, flying to approximately 185 destinations.

Eglin Concourse International – specialists in passenger seating for airport terminals, railway stations, bus stations, ferry terminals and other public waiting areas – have recently completed projects at the airport using a custom made Gatwick Cityscape fabric.

The design for the Gatwick Cityscape fabric was supplied by Eglin to our product designers, who translated this onto a wool/nylon fabric. The fabric, showing various well-known London landmarks, has been used on seating in the North and South terminals ready to withstand the rigours of busy airport life.
