Very few textile companies who go to market actually make their own fabrics. We do make our own fabrics so we can control intimately our manufacturing processes, manage our waste streams and get deeper into our supply chain. We make our own polypropylene and woollen spun yarns; we undertake our own warping, weaving and textile finishing; we have partner relations with piece-dyeing companies and we're investing in a joint venture initiative to set up our own yarn dyeing operation. ISO 14001 ensures that we continually improve, with current objectives focusing on energy management and on-going waste reductions.
