Designed for the environment
Our sustainability ethos drives us to produce the most environmentally sensitive fabrics available for the contract furniture and transport industries. We’re a world leader in innovative, natural bast fibre fabrics made from harvested nettles and hemp, grown on a farm in the UK. Our wool and bast fibre fabric ranges, now including flax and recycled jute from coffee sacks, are inherently flame retardant and require no chemical treatments to meet the main contract and domestic flammability standards.
We work closely with Wools of New Zealand to ensure the full traceability of our wool source, grown under a strict integrity programme of sustainable farming and animal husbandry. Redesigning our polyester products to be formed of 100% recycled fibre marked a major step in increasing the sustainability of our synthetic products whilst our EU Ecolabel certified Technical Knitting capability produces fully fashioned 3D knitted components engineered with zero waste.
Our hardwearing transportation fabrics are responsibly sourced, rich in wool - nature’s own smart fibre and our Fusion quality is technically engineered to be 10% lighter to increase vehicle efficiency and improve life-cycle impact.
