Camira Fabrics Ltd is committed to meeting the requirements of statutory legislation, approved codes of practice and guidance relating to Occupational Safety and Health. The Company recognises that continuous improvement in Health and Safety performance is the responsibility of all employees, and has a structured team from all parts of the organisation to ensure that the company arrangements for safety are implemented. The company will comply with all legal and any other requirements to which we subscribe.
I have overall responsibility for Health & Safety on our sites. I am supported in this responsibility by company directors, managers, team leaders and employees. Individual responsibilities are defined in the Camira Health & Safety Policy. Consultation will take place through the Employee Safety Representatives at monthly meetings and at the bi-annual Steering Committee meetings.
The directors will regularly review the Company’s safety policy and ensure the provision of relevant information and training in respect of Health and Safety as well as providing sufficient funds and leadership for Health and Safety initiatives.
