Designed to blend the aesthetic qualities of luxury woollen apparel with modern performance sportswear, Rivet is made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester.
Unifi, a leading global producer and processor of polyester and nylon textured yarns, developed a proprietary process to transform recycled plastic bottles into REPREVE® fibre. The process involves melting bottle flake into resin, then extruding it into fibre that is spun and textured to create a variety of yarns, one of which is used in Rivet.
The fabric, available in 33 colourways, has a lightly textured hopsack construction which emulates the swathe and sheen of sophisticated suiting in a well-heeled synthetic. The yarn is made from a combination of colours, a black base combined with one or more colours to give a final shade, which created the mélange effect seen throughout each colourway.
Rivet features unique colour detail and the whole palette is made from 13 yarns and through different combinations, mixing and coordinating, new colours have been created.
With muted, tonal shades and bold, darker colours, the palette has been developed to coordinate with other ranges, so there are no holds barred when it comes to pushing new boundaries for creating dynamics interior schemes.
