Waste Reduction
We aim to reduce waste in as many areas as possible and have dedicated teams evaluating waste streams and implementing performance improvements for re-use and recycling. We use measured lengths on yarn cones to make efficient manufacturing batches and save on energy, time and waste. Yarn cones are also re-used up to five times, reducing the requirement for more cones by at least 190,000 per annum. All waste is segregated into waste streams (yarn, fabric, plastic, cardboard, drinks cans, etc) for re-use.
